As you can easily see, this one is very difficult to make. Be sure to allow plenty of time so that you don’t have to rush around at the last minute! When Carole makes anything you can count on it involving three tons of butter. This dip is sooooo yummie. The next time I make it, I’m thinking of adding a little slurp of dry, $3.00/bottle sherry.
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 8oz. pkg. of cream cheese
- 1 can of crab meat
Slowly melt the butter and cream cheese together over a medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add the crab meat (after it has been drained) and serve this baby hot with some type of crackers you like that are fairly bland.
It’s killer!
